Projects

Projects let you group dependencies by deployable service, making it easy to see which deprecations affect which parts of your infrastructure.

Creating Projects

Navigate to Projects and click New Project. Each project needs:

  • Name — a recognisable label (e.g. "payment-service", "mobile-app")
  • Description (optional) — additional context about the project

Managing Dependencies

Once a project is created, add dependencies in two ways:

  1. Upload a manifest — drag-and-drop or select a dependency file (see Manifest Upload)
  2. Manual add — search for components on the Browse page and add them to a specific project

Project Dashboard

Each project's detail page shows:

  • Dependency list — all tracked components with version and deprecation status
  • Risk summary — counts of critical, important, planned, and future deprecations
  • Recent changes — newly announced deprecations affecting your dependencies

Project Limits

The number of projects you can manage depends on your pricing tier:
