Organizations
Organizations let teams collaborate on shared projects and manage deprecation tracking collectively.
Creating an Organization
- Navigate to Organizations
- Click Create Organization
- Enter a name and optional slug (URL-friendly identifier)
- Click Create
You become the owner of the organization automatically.
Inviting Members
From the organization detail page:
- Click Invite Member
- Enter their email address
- Select a role: Admin or Member
- Click Send Invitation
The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept the invitation. Pending invitations can be viewed and cancelled from the organization page.
Roles
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, transfer ownership, delete organization |
| Admin | Manage members, manage projects, manage settings |
| Member | View projects, upload manifests, view deprecations |
Organization Projects
Projects created within an organization are visible to all members. The organization context is available throughout the app — use the organization switcher in the navigation bar to switch between personal and organization workspaces.
Switching Context
The organization switcher in the top navigation lets you switch between:
- Personal — your own projects and settings
- Organization — shared projects and settings for any organization you belong to
All pages (projects, browse, dashboard) respect the currently selected context.
